If tsp got wata we wouldn't need james nor darcy since she would cover both the oriental/babe slots.

and she plays a double neck guitar/bass guitar. perfect!

Heh, never even bothered to listen to the song long enough to care what he means, but I never took that mindset away from it. It always seemed like too happy and upbeat of an execution to suggest a deeper meaning.( I could be wrong, I haven't listened to the song in 8 years and honestly I'd like to keep it that way)

On a side note, what you mention is pretty much exactly this:

Only presented way more awesomely than current day Billy Corgan could ever imagine doing.

Yeah, the song is a bit overrated. It's really just all about JC for this one though... And there's about maybe 1:30 of cool musicianship spread out throughout the duration. It just stands out in a big way because a lot of the album is so toothless.

How about a YouTube critics vote on OGILALA, a smashing 2 of 5:

yeah you missed it, the song is not happy at all

did we go on too long
did we listen too close
to a youth built strong
with things children shouldn't know

and the fall out from your third degrees
of broken chairs and of pedigrees
where the sons kill sons, and the daughters stay wise
'cause when we rule, everybody dies
in an endless summer

All I can really remember about the song is that annoying hook though, and that's a dealbreaker enough for me. "endless summmerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr"

that's fine and everything but it might be good to not judge the entire album when you didnt getting the subtext of the songs at all
