Default could we ever come up with a consensus on the best SP song?

i know its all subjective, but i feel like its one of the Siamese songs.
Soma?

Mayonaise?

Hummer?

those are just some of the ones that come to mind from that era.

porcelina is up there too i think

Yeah, it's gotta be from that era for sure, Id throw Geek USA in the mix too. These fans who think it's a track from Machina are insane

I would say Hummer Mayo and Soma are maybe the most cited as ultimate favs in my completely anecdotal self-reported experience as a fan

I hate to jump on the Mayo, Hummer, Soma bandwagon but yeah, after 10 years of observing online fan communities in their natural habitat, those three songs get the most mentions/praise, as they should. But I'll throw in a few overlooked classics.
Tonight Tonight. (I know it's one of their biggest songs, but I rarely see it checked off in these fan lists. But it deserves to be up there with Ruby and Porcelina)

Also, For Martha & Home.

yes, because if you don't fall in the lowest common denominator or aren't stuck in the early 90s grunge/"punk" era you are insane

Stand Inside Your Love, This Time, & Age of Innocence are as good of answers to this question as any

Could hundreds of people with different tastes and personalities come to a unanimous agreement as to the best work by a group they all like that produced several good things for a period spanning about a decade?

Yeah, I don't see what's so unlikely about that.

Well we've already narrowed it down to at least 3-6 tracks in this thread. That's pretty good.

we did do survivors per album years ago
like, voting away the lesser songs one by one until there was only one left

and then a survivor of the survivors I think
