I want to like this band, really I do, but... I dunno, they've never once managed to hit the spot for me. Stanier is such a badass that everything he does I give consideration, but every couple years when there's a new Tomahawk album I always go to the bother of giving it a listen and I always feel underwhelmed.

Do you like the Jesus Lizard or Faith No More?

I do, but my affection for FNM is more antiquity from my teenage years than anything. I haven't actively enjoyed anything Patton has done in years, but I still listen to Jesus Lizard and Helmet in reasonably high rotation.
