Default MCIS Booklet

Wanted to share before Monte ups his version covered in crayon and lipstick.

Don't complain because you can't read some of the text. If you want the book that badly, go buy it.

Thanks for this!

The notes for "Lily" explain a lot about Belly, actually.

You clicked the wrong download link. Click the one that says download from sendspace. There are all kinds of things on these sites that try to trick you into downloading some other random thing.

that's the sendspace download accelerator
uncheck the box for the accelerator and you can just download the pdf directly

It seems like there is a lot of descriptions that try to use pretty wording to sound ... I don't know. It just comes off kind of douchey. I do like when he gets more into explaining the process of the songs rather than some poetic garble.

It was a bit annoying because of the size and the glossy paper stock. That said, the second lot of scanning I did came out better than the first, so apologies for the shiny lines.

Marvellous, cheers for that. First time I've spotted such nonsense on Sendspace, annoying

The other thing that I"m noticing is that he keeps mentioning these other tracks that we didn't get. I know this just comes off as complaining but, I feel like there are a few things that he could have easily omitted and replaced with something instead like a piano demo of Muzzle. Being such a fan favorite, this seems like a no brainer. Maybe on TAFH set??

I don't get the 'take me down' story
there's really no shame in being the last track of disk 1.
it's a pretty important spot imho.

Yeah, I've always thought it was a good way to wind down the first disc, and you might even be able to describe it as a little duskish.

I really wonder what he meant by "thematically it fit in nowhere." I guess I somehow agree on an intuitive level. But when I think about it, the album kind of goes all over the place, so I wonder what is this theme that Take Me Down is outside of while, say, Lily, TOASE, and 1979 all fit into.

I can see Jame's point. I think he had a case of the George Harrison Complex: Yeah you can write a song or two, but it's gonna be a b-side or buried as fuck into the album.

I just wish Corgan could have had something more positive to say about the song, rather than "oh yeah, this is the song that made James hate me, even though I don't know why he hates me. What an asshole."

Also, wtf was he talking about in Zero, about the bandmate thing?
