Default Alice in Chains, anyone?

I've always been a casual listener, but they are coming to Asheville this month. Is anyone going?

I assure you this band will blow your mind live even without Layne. I went with no expectations last year and they fucking destroyed.

I haven't heard many details, other than they'll be here on the 16th. Directly following the Broadway presentation of HAIRSPRAY.

However, if I do go, naturally I'll report back

If you can't concede that these two bands put on an amazing live show no matter what you think of their music, than you truly are an indie snob. No one can go see Foo Fighters and not enjoy it.

since when does a solid performance redeem crappy songs?

if you can't concede that christina aguilera puts on an amazing live show no matter what you think of her music, then you truly are a rock snob. no one can go see christina aguilera and not enjoy it.

I don't even like Green Day anymore but they still put on one of the best shows I've ever seen. But whatever, I'm sure whatever you listen to is much better than Alice in Chains.

I wish I would have got tickets for them when they played here yesterday but the idea of them opening for Velvet Revolver put me off.
