I admire D’arcy’s position. She doesn't care about the fame or cash. She believed in the idea of being in the band again. Instead, Billy pushed ahead and planned an arena tour and recording sessions without properly reconnecting the band members. “Leaving the door open” isn’t reestablishing the band. They didn’t even get themselves in the same room together. The reunion was planned with Billy and Jimmy in the forefront with James’s schedule in mind. They had little faith in D’arcy’s abilities and pushed her toward a token role, so much so that they already identified another bassist. How would you feel in D’arcy’s position? When she realized that the reunion wasn’t what she was led to believe, she called them out on it. She said that she wanted to be involved in “everything,” but sadly everyhing was already planned without her. I respect D’arcy’s motivation and authenticity. It’s right in line with her actions during the 90’s. D’arcy makes the idea of a reunion believable. Without her, it’s hard to trust whatever SP is selling. Let’s call it for what it is: The 2015 End Times Tour featuring James Iha. I’ll definitely buy tickets and merch, but with the understanding that I’m seeing another incarnation of the Pumpkins.

It was mixed in there so well, too. I remember going back to the track after reading the liner notes for the first time, re-listening and going "nice."

There's a Billy quote from somewhere in the 90's where he said he was a pretty good gamer but had to put it down because he couldn't spare the time. Doesn't surprise me; everyone played Doom. Might have been James, we know he was a Turok fan.

Also what he's really thinking:
"James, do you really think you can outplay Jeff-fucking-Schroeder?"

He couldn't sell out arenas in 2016 on the Manson tour. The arena was half empty and most people filed out after 1979. This isn't a reunion and James will not be some secret factor that will make them suddenly sell out arenas. BC has delusions of grandeur.

"I can't be silent which I haven't been in all of this, since it gets a tiny bit tricky now to release official statements, let me do what I did the past weeks (and I was told to do.)"

Man oh man this is the great train wreck you can't take your eyes off, isn't it?

Just when I thought I can't take any more, more hilarious shit happens.

I mean, the countdown has no effect on me whatsoever at this point. What will be the excitement?? i bet Bill pulls the plug and blames the fans. I'm calling it.

haha this is a beautiful trainwreck. Normally it takes a few months for the old issues to come back during a reunion. But these guys, these guys, they did it without even managing to get back in a room together. *Applause

Don't see how any legal dogs could stop alternative nation running the D'arcy interview. I doubt she has an NDA that is still in effect. They don't have a leg to stand on.

They seriously need to shut Linda up. Who appointed her spokesperson of the band? They post a carefully worded statement on D'arcy and here's Linda running her mouth on facebook.

It's just not how you do PR. No third party should be making statements on behalf of the band. She should really be fired for it if BC had any sense about him.
