Looking to download some live shows...
But I don't know where to start. Are there any legendary live shows essential for any Pumpkin fan? Any live shows agreed by general consensus to be the best?
Thanks in advance. |

Always been my favorites, what I think are "essential" and are all excellent quality. For time constraints, I just listed what I felt are the essential three of each era:
Gish & pre-Gish era: 3/16/89 WZRD Radio 6/16/90 Club De Wash 1/19/92 Paard, Den Haag Siamese Dream-era 6/29/93 Studio 105 (acoustic show) 8/14/93 The Metro 9/25/93 Brixton Academy Mellon Collie-era 10/23/95 Riviera 1/8/97 GM Place 6/28/97 Roskilde Festival Adore-era 1/15/98 Viper Room (Billy solo acoustic, solo James opening) 5/19/98 Lisbon 5/23/98 Shepards Bush Machina-era 4/23/99 Spreckles Theatre 5/1/00 Electric Factory 11/29/00 United Center |

Pittsburg '99; an incredibly powerful show from the Arising Tour (band reunited with Jimmy post-Adore/pre-Machina).
http://archive.org/details/tsp1999-04-17.flacf As for Adore tour, Botanique (Brussels) really sticks in the mind. http://archive.org/details/tsp1998-05-28.flac16 |

yeah, redbull sure has a clue what's good. those pre-gish shows are also my favs..club de wash with this fantastic razor > honeyspider > try to try ending is insane..
I would add 1992-07-11 (great versions of rocket, obscured and blue, acoustic show at blackout records) and 1995-08-25 (reading festival, great energy) |

1988-08-10 at the avalon also, for obvious reasons.
"the reason we don't have a drummer is cause we had a drummer and he fucked everything up you know what i'm saying..." "this is called armed to the teeth" "see you know it's not" sadly it's not on the archive (yet). |

I love that show. I thought it was on the archive, I can't remember where I got it from though.
