my gopher/assistant has been fucking me in the ass all week. it's gotten to the point where i would rather just have him stand there and not "help" me while i ran around and did everything myself. i just can't trust him. gotta babysit.
my mom put the idea in my head that he's doing it on purpose because he's mad/bitter that he's older than me and has been working there for longer and i'm a new hire and am his superior. #otherproblemranting |

luckily in my old kitchen job the cooks weren't bitter, they would just dog you hardcore like elphenor mentioned. the sorry lives story came more from FOH managers.

honestly i just see it as "manly work".
dudes dog each other all the time for not pulling their weight on any team. they make fun of the weakest link but if they ride you the most that means they like you. its almost like prison - they come at you with all kinds of bullshit to see how you handle it so they can gauge what kind of man you are. or something. |

the problem, as mentiond before, was when FOH wouldn't stand up for themselves like the dirty dogs in back would.

i mentioned this earlier but i'm working for a compnay that drug tests AFTER the 90 day probation period. like after 90s days i get benefits and THEN i'm tested.
on one hand - this doens't make any sense. why not immediately not hire these people? on the other - i guess it gives a chance for employees to get clean? |
