i didn't even feel the 3 shots i got in the hospital after the c section. sigh. i wasn't trying to be high, i just wanted to not feel the 6 inch cut in my uterus and abdomen.

I had a spinal so I was totally numb but awake. I didn't watch them take anything out though, there was a curtain there so I couldn't see. I was staring straight up and singing to myself anyway. Once she was out I started shaking all over for like 3 hours, it was really weird but apparently common. When the spinal wore off the leg shots of demerol did nothing though. same with the percs and tabs. and yes i was on both cuz i wasn't responding to them. lulz

C section recovery was/is a bitch but the good thing is it's fast. from broken water to crying baby was less than 2 hours. i'm glad i didn't have half a day of labor and a wrecked womanhood, but hurting for 3 straight weeks instead of days is the trade off for that.

No, it's apparently adrenaline from the spinal, the surgery, and the fact that the baby inside you is now chilling on your chest. There's nothing they can do to stop it, I was already on meds. It's natural, just overwhelming.

I did when I was a teenager and had my wisdom teeth removed. I got so mean I even apologized to the doctor a few days later. But as an adult I seem to handle it well, no haze coming out of it either. I'm like "Oh it must be over" (just recently had to go under to get my guts checked out. yuck)

i need my wisdom teeth out but i'm kinda scared cause of the drugs. usually when i do drugs i don't really like them the first time but then love them after a few tries and can control myself on them

so like random trippy anesthetic might be an issue

When I had my wisdom teeth out they gave me the most wondrous drug. i felt fantastic and could barely walk afterwards. wish i had more wisdom teeth to be pulled.

anesthetic isn't trippy. not for me at least. the benzos and/or painkillers are the good stuff. i don't even dream on anesthetics, just 100% unconscious and then back, with a little grogginess afterward. it's not like sleep though. it's hard to explain but i wouldn't use the word fun. and the mixture usually burns going in. it is crazy to feel yourself fade out in less than 10 seconds though. but everyone reacts very differently. don't put off your surgery because of that though. you definitely don't want an abscess or impaction. it's been 10 years since i got mine out and the worst part was dry socket. but that's cuz i smoked out of a bong all weekend after it. i'm sure things have only improved.

They didn't put me under for the wisdom teeth. Just mellowed me out. Totally.
