If anyone in here owns a switch and had even a passing interest in the alien film/lore and/or survival horror games, ffs treat yourself to alien isolation
It’s probably the best looking switch game in terms of photorealistic art style, and the sound design is so incredibly immersive and astonishingly detailed and then there’s the AI of the alien which outclasses anything ive ever experienced in a lifetime of playing many differnt games of all kinds |

I've gotten addicted to The Witcher 3 again.
I'm starting to think I may someday actually finish this game. I've already cleared two of the maps of question marks. Other than a couple of treasures guarded by monsters who are too highly leveled for me to take on right now, White Orchid and the Velen/Novigrad maps have been thoroughly explored. Now I gotta take on Skellige. |

Played a ton of the Resident Evil 2 Remake and holy hell it's probably my favorite horror game ever.
Better than that Alien game that came out a while ago. |

Ya ha ha! Happy to report that animal crossing is a gorgeous, soothing, thoroughly rewarding 10/10 must own switch title. Just spent a happy hour on the couch next to my daughter working on our islands, showing off our progress to each other. Love the “reward u for everything u do” philosophy of the nook miles; provides that constant slow drip of dopamine just for playing the game normally, going about your quiet business.
Has there ever been a game more suited to its time? |

Yeah, I've been there. But they use the exact same animation/cinematic sequence for all the courtesans there, so I want my money back. |

Doom Eternal. Way tougher than Doom 2016. Still hilarious and a great adrenaline rush.

I'm playing Defiance atm. An open-world game, downloadable for free. Which is cool, but it makes me long for fallout. It's very samey and there's not much to discover or to loot. In Fallout you can enter lots of places and find weird shit all over the place.
Anyone have a recommendation for me that is kind of in this vein? Would prefer if it's not super new since my computer probably wouldn't play it well |

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a lot of fun for an independent title, only it's of the medieval persuasion and not exactly the Fallout 5: New Bohemia you might be looking for.
If you have a PS4 or Xbox controller lying around, I would fire it up on your computer for this. |

Resident Evil 3 was good, but really really short.
I spent a couple months picking away at 2 until I finally beat it. Was done with 3 in the first weekend. Need more video games to forget that I can't play that new animal crossing. |

Friend owed me money, but decided to cancel his debt and pay him 90 bucks for his old X-Box One. To his advantage since he upgraded to an XBox One X already.
So anyway I now have a Killer Instinct machine |

Currently playing Sonic Forces on PS4. It was a PlayStation Plus free game last month.
Having a lot of nostalgic fun with it, even though it's clearly aimed towards children and guys who masturbate into stuffed anime dolls. I didn't realize they could still make a Sonic game that didn't suck after all the abortions they churned out in the '00s. |

Is this a good time to talk about when I was 12/13 I kept two pillows in one pillowcase and used the space between them for...you know what, never mind.
