a clip of an interview from sweden. first of all, NOTICE HOW INSANE BILLY LOOKS. HE LOOKS LIKE A CHEMO PATIENT. He's obviously on speed. He's chewing gum and moving his jaw nonstop, and he sounds completely out of mind, even in his brief answer. D'arcy rambles incoherently and James is wallpaper.

You're definitely right about Billy, he seems edgy as fuck. I've read about how much he used uppers during this period, I've never actually seen footage that reflected it though. It's pretty fucked. It's also kind of cringe-worthy that he's also beating the "everyone tries to categorise us, but we don't fit into any category" horse that 99% of every band ever has claimed.

I don't think you can really glean much from what James and D'arcy are doing from a 40 second clip. I think they behaved normally for what was probably just another boring interview, and dealing with an obviously addled frontman.

he has always liked to fuck with interviewers. it's a schtick. Even when he does a serious interview he has to fuck with people.

Yeah Billy does seem pretty fucked up... The constant rolling of the jaw is a tell tale sign... He wouldn't be doing that if he wasn't on some sort of stimulant.

Man I collect bootlegs for about 13 years. Just want to know if the band told anyone about their feeling about bootlegs, their point of view about bootlegs....

exactly, that's pretty much all i wanted to say. he's totally speeding. the normal billy rap sounds even more crazy just the way he says it, his inflection, it's creepy.

I recall reading that he did a lot E around the Adore period. Could be the case in that video. Either way, I would like some myself.

well, first off they allow open taping and all shows (with some exceptions) are on archive.org
