I'm sure recording ain't finished yet. This was just the first session of getting down some tracks together. I imagine there's a lot more work to go in the studio and James will be back.

Billy is still in studio, he misspoke. He probably meant the band finished recording together for now. Jimmy is back to Chicago.

I'm sure james doesn't want to be involved on the studio album anyways with the tarnished reputation. "just let jeff do it"

Imagine james just pops out at a few shows to do a couple songs with billy touting "the reunion is successful"

imagine Billy on bass for the live shows.
the possibilities are huge.

Only because Jimmy is in the boat, and James hanging around in the studio gives you hope?

Rofl - Billy is the song writer and honestly zeitgeist, glow, fol etc (WITH JIMMY) belongs to the worst the SP have ever produced.

Billy can still write great songs, but productionwise we wont hear a sd or mcis.

If billy´s voice is buried in the mix - there´s a good chance that the albums going to rock

the main thing that's telling me that this has very little promise is the fact that there's a song called "route 666" on it.

I think that was for Billy's supposed other solo album, from the Nashville sessions.

NEW ALBUMS GONNA FLOP
Thanks to the bad promotion just from the beginning.

To infinite the sadness: make it a double album with some shitty MELLON COLLIE wannabe design (exclusive Strawtits-art) and put it out like AUGIELALA on a Friday 13th, this year in April or -better- in July, for the local tour dates.

The Billy that could write a great album is no longer with us.
All that's left is a man who put out Run2Me. There's no hope the new album will be good. Especially with Jeff involved. It won't even sell 25,000 copies.

Seems people are getting mixed up between Solo nashville album (done) and LA SP album.

Run2Me was definitely the Run2Pee track:

After MANSON and most of the PUMPKINS songs including their greatest hit "1979" it was time for a bladder-chill out...

Guys, the new album is gonna rock and that's all

Bringing james back in the band with a positive attitude is probably the best thing to happen in 20 years

Alchemy of the smashing pumpkins will be obviously back at its highest level since Machina I and II

The only open question is : can it be "successful" in our current world ?

Perhaps this will be the highest level of alchemy we have seen from the Pumpkins since Jimmy would come out and play guitar on 1979

Heh, I don't think I've listened to that song in at least two, maybe three years now.

she might be referring to the alex jones thing that got everyone thinking he supported trump. as far as we know, she has not discussed politics with him while having tea at zuzu's.

billy is wealthy so i wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't into most of the democratic candidates considering their desire to tax the fuck out of the rich. and he's also kind of a crazy, reactionary asshole like Big Orange himself. but i hate politics so i'll shut up now.
