That's part of the reason chat existed, people could share more personal details with less fear of it being on the internet forever (what happens in chat stays in chat!).
However, that brought it's own share of problems and some people hated that others would play videos in the chat, and eventually everyone just stopped going altogether.

I'm not active enough to say something about all, so i'll comment on the ones i recall.

eulogy - agree or not, eulogy always has something insightful to say, or something worth reading in general

wHATcOLOR - used to be active and fun to talk to, but the memory is a bit fuzzy. i just have an overall positive vibe when i see the name

yo soy el mejor - we met at a time both of our lives were in a bit of a ... vulnerable time. big heart, kind soul, fiercely defensive of her place and space in this world. She's also the reason I got addicted to Katamari Damacy.

cool as ice cream - I was more active on the oboards than I ever was here. Bram came over to troll, iirc, but he was so damn likable he stuck around and was well-received. Helpful with the SP music files getting around and the like.

ohnoitsbonnie - enigma. I've spent some time here and there with Bonnie on the phone many years ago, and she was normal and cool and funny, but then she would be in chat rooms with random people and act like a different, not-nice person. One of those personalities that makes you wonder what they're actually like in-person.

I guess this is my yearly "check in." Hope everyone's good, and all.

I have not been in a chat room for a good 5 years or more netphoria or otherwise. Also people tend to troll as others here in chats. I know that was going on anywa. Over the phone is a better gauge of who I am but since all that went on before I even graduated high school there is no guarantee that I'm the same person now. I don't even really remember
