Have you actually listened to those EPs? I'd peg them as being a bigger disappointment to Pixies fans than Teargarden was to Smashing Pumpkins fans.

especially after diminishing returns post doolittle and then a rather uninspiring frank black solo career

new album? that's a bit generous. they're just combining those three eps, and are calling it an album. the album doesn't contain any new song.
