Thanks for your concern guys, but no woman will ever coerce me into having sexy times. Your fathers, on the other hand ....

Fantastic Voyage (1966)

There's a moment in the movie where everyone must be silent for four minutes.

It's like torture porn for Took.

8/10

Isn’t it just the strangest thing. It comes from the talent of the late great Robert Altman who made many a great film.

Bohemian Rhapsody: B

There's a lot wrong with this film just knowing a lot of background - it's super sanitized, and corny at moments. It's odd that it doesn't focus on his homosexual relationships at all, or any friendships, and only his ex-girlfriend that he remained friends with his whole life. And no characters are fleshed out whatsoever - not even Freddie, really.

Despite all of that, it's very entertaining and I enjoyed it.

This is what keeps me from seeing it. Queen Productions wants to make a Disney production out of everything

The fact that it was directed by Bryan Singer is what is keeping me from watching it. That guy is like an Omega Concern rant brought to life by actual truth.

I haven't been keeping up with the Hitchcock set since Took ruined the thread for the 17th time, so here are the one's I've watched since I last posted:

Shadow of a Doubt - 8/10
The Trouble with Harry - 9/10
Rear Window (re-watch) - 10/10
Vertigo (re-watch) - 10/10
North by Northwest (re-watch) - 10/10

I also re-watched Diamonds are Forever. It's super over-the-top, to the point of parody (kind of like Took) but I enjoyed every bit of it (unlike Took, whom I don't enjoy in the slightest). - 7/10

Yeah, the poison of Singer assures I will never see it

That and the bad editing memes, such as this scene where people sit around and have a calm conversation, but with whip cracks added every time the shot changes

I keep trying to make sense of this but the combination of those two leads my brain to short circuit every time.

What do you mean?

Nah, just incidental. I'm starting to pick up a Bond rewatch that I abandoned last spring. Diamonds is where I left off.

Woof. That was rough. But even bad Hitchcock is still good Hitchcock.

I own most of them on Blu/DVD but I did notice that Amazon Prime has most of them too.

3/10 because it at least moves fast and ol' Rambo finds new and interesting ways to pummel his opponents into goo.

But it's totally the kind of movie that would give fuzzy's Twitter pals an erection.
