In my experience, anytime you try to comment on people or persons for their negative behavior your really only feeding it more bones to knaw on. Ignorance is the most powerful force in behavioral psychology. You insult a person, more often then not they become determined to prove to you they don't give a fuck about you.

And besides, any band that has ever been popular has had a class of fans that at one point or another acted like the music is by far the most important thing in existence.
