Compiling An Album That Collects All The Songs Found On Soundtracks, Promos, Etc..

I am compiling a very useful compilation of rare SP/BC tracks. If I have forgotten anything, please let me know, as this is in a work in a progress. It is almost like a new Cessations of Grandeur, but more extreme and detailed. Everything is lossless. There are 20 some odd tracks per disc. Here it is so far:

the only way to obtain most of them is dropping obscene amounts of money on ebay. a few have been circulated.

there are of course dozens of other shows with pFM sources in existence that haven't gotten outside the radio stations (2000-05-06 comes to mind). I'm not really sure what defines a promo vs in house copy in this case or where the line is though. in my opinion they aren't even remotely official material.

same situation: bwbw from launch is the same live recording as "live in chicago 25.10.95".
and you have two nu-wave batcave mixes of teitbite.

and how are those edits useful? dreaming edit? speed kills edit? try, try, try edit? those are just shorter versions of the standard tracks. kinda meh, no?

also, i think it's a bit silly to have entire cds like CR-05 or live in chicago 23.10.95 in a compilation like this. i mean, if i was making a compilation of loose ends, i wouldn't include them, personally.

the i am one track doesn't include the phone message. the phone message is added to the last track of the limited potential compilation.

similarly, now that we're talking of stuff added to the last track of a cd, sun, off light into dark, has an extra bit appended: the sound of the needle lifting off at the end of a record being played.

what about b-sides that don't appear anywhere else?
and is this just sp, or also bc? what about things like tilt, stigmata, iommi?
glow? superchrist? those sprc tracks?

Hmm...I do see your point. I suppose it would be more useful to some than others. The purpose is mostly to compile material from promos that isn't available anywhere else. And I agree with you on CR05, that's so easy to obtain. 23.10.95, not so much for most people.
