Netphorian parents of human and animal children
My daughter got a new puppy.. and she named him "Trump". I shouldn't have allowed her to watch republican debates. I made her wait a few years to get a puppy because I wanted to make sure we had more time to dedicate to loving one.
Anything new with you and your children? |

My cat Mittens identifies as human. Mittens is not happy with the new addition and has spit on Trump a couple of times. :/ This is going to be a rough transition for both of them.

And I hope you followed the standard steps of introducing a new animal to your cat household? I suppose both Spot and Janosch are gender agnostics, being castrated and everything, but they still behave like litte kittens:  Thankfully they love each other, and especially Janosch is great with attractive young female humans. |

My greyhound is 14. Never thought she'd make it past 10. I've never met a rescue grey that old. Twice this winter I brought her to the vet thinking it would be for the last time. She's had a bunch of weird physical symptoms. Got to the point where she could barely stand and was falling down all the time. But now she's on an anti inflammatory that's used to treat arthritis and all of her symptoms are gone.

How do you take care of greyhounds? Do they need a lot of space to run? I wanted to get an Alaskan malamute, but their energy is off the hook. They're beautiful but a friend of mine had his woodwork chewed up... including rugs, table ends and other things that came up missing.
