It wasn't my first tattoo, but I'd wanted to get a SP one for a long time. I thought about getting the heart logo or the cross logo, but ever since I saw Machina II and then got the shirt at the last show, I've wanted those little guys.

I think that it looks gay. Isn't that supposed to symbolize Raindrops + Sunshowers? Is that really important enough to be permanently drawn onto your body? Maybe if it was smaller, but damn... it's fuckin huge. And what do you say to people who ask what it is? "Um, well, I don't really know, but it was a cute little picture on Machina 2." Heh. More general ones, like the SP heart and SP cross... those I can buy, but not something that doesn't really mean anything to anyone.

It serves two purposes.
One, it does mean something to me. It symbolizes my fascination with The Smashing Pumpkins that has somehow sustained itself for the past 8 years. Also, the picture is from the t-shirt I bought at the last show, so it brings back memories of how great it was to actually see that show. But, it also doesn't scream "SMASHING PUMPKINS." So, if at some point during my life I somehow end up hating them, I can at least play it off. corganballs |

I think its a pretty cool idea for a tattoo, but I wouldn't get it that big on myself. Maybe a quarter of the size or something. ------------------ how'd this world get so fucking fun, all of a sudden? [This message has been edited by Injektilo (edited 05-13-2002).] |

I think it looks really really good. but the design and the size is only something I'd maybe, draw on myself with a pen when I'm bored in school. I respect that you did it, but I know I wouldn't

I think it looks cool as hell.
I thought the shirt was supposed to represent the 4 elements - fire, water, earth and air. Maybe I'm wrong. |

you just did that to show off your stupid body and you're nothing but an ugly loser! i'm sick and tired of people thinking they're hot and posting 'my sp tattoo' topics just as an excuse to troll for compliments on their supposedly built physiques! it's especially obvious in this case, where there's all of probably 15 square inches of skin showing and you can't tell if it's even a guy or girl...! it makes me want to hit myself in the faise! tattoos are the give factory you more for occasion display! not in meek feel to show a thing of body! the more fun than you will believe it!
really, though, as tats go, that's a good one--proppps. |
