I've never seen a forum with so many people suffering from arrested development. And so many different types of arrested development. That's what everyone here seems to have in common besides the Pumpkins connection. And even as far as the type of music people here like there is a lot of arrested development. Like everyone is still enthusiastic about bands from 15 and 20 years ago.

Only chance of any current invigoration for the brand is to launch a full-scale reunion. BC/JC/JI ANNDDD Darcy or bust... No D'arcy, no dice.

I hate when rock and rollers who are supposed to not give a shit start getting surgery on their face. It's gonna be super lame if any of the grunge stars start pulling that shit.

Speak for yourself...TJF, Die Antwoord, No Joy, Grimes are all brilliant current artist doing excellent original material. Foster the People is a legitimately great band in my estimation. I can clearly see the appeal of 21 Pilots as they are also very talented and unique and I can even tell that Bruno Mars is a James Brown/Sammy Davis Jr./ MJ hybrid who actually plays instruments.

Rush is one of the two bands I was obsessed with, so naturally I still follow what the boys are up to. I don't need to listen to their music anymore however (same with Pumpkins), unless through fresh ears that are interested.

just spare me the armchair psychobabble.

This actually brings up a good question: Who here actually shares their Netphoria experiences with the real world?

I do mention to people that I "post on an SP fan forum from time to time", but I know that no one I tell gives enough of a shit to ask me what it's called. If they did I might actually get panicky.

Yeah, I just can't even pull the words out of my mouth. It's not that it's embarrassing, it's just that no one will care so why bother?

If I ever meet another SP fan in real life, I'll make mention, but that's about as far as I see it going.

Then again, this is barely even a SP board to me.

Billy Corgan has freedom, a free that you and I think is dumb. Free to be without the worries of a quick to diss society, for Billy Corgan's a bum. His only worries are sickness and occasional harassment by the police and their chase. Uncivilized we call him, but I just saw him eat off the food we waste.
