I think it's actually "Everybody gather, warm yourself."
Even worse than the lyrics is that 8-bit Mario shit at the beginning. Not that I even dislike beep-boopy noises in rock music on principle. It just feels like it's just thrown in here and is from a totally different song. Those TEITBEITE demos, now that's how you use beep-boopy noises in rock music.

It was "warm your soul" IIRC.
That song is forever associated with Peanuts because of that video someone whipped up a while ago. |

he said Walking Shade is a song he wrote predicting a break up with his girlfriend at the time, and then his prediction came true after he wrote the song

all i read about that song is that bill said he wanted to write a dumb song for the record, and this is what he came up with (he said this good heartedly) |

It was around the release of the album so unfortunately I have no idea where I read it. I also remember him saying the thing about it being the dumb rock and roll song on the album or whatever.

LMGTWTY is essentially one giant bullshit lyric (though done admirably well tbh)
last chance to make believe in always and all it seems trainwrecks hide underneath your umbrella set the frame destiny on this first name soliloquy how does he even come up with this stuff |

To runaround kids in get-go cars
With Vaseline afterbirths and neon coughs Galaxies full of nobodies Giving us the farewell runarounds I took a Virgin Mary ax to his sweet baby Jane Lost my innocence to a no good girl Scratch my face with anvil hands And coil my tongue around a bumblebee mouth And I give it all back to you |

I think it's more like he uses or used that love/smile in order to disconnect from everyday reality. That love was escapist.
Hasn't anyone been so in love that (like in high school) that it mattered more than anything? I'm surprised things like this aren't obvious. |

he's talking about becoming numb to the reality that surrounds one because they can't deal with it.
he's often used that word to describe the way the look in his father's eye would disconnect when he would beat him and his brother. |
