Even longer then that. DAy started at like 10am with a screening of Clerks, then a seminar, then Kevin came out at 2pm and talked till after 9. He talked about Prince, and Hayden Christensen trying to sue. Christensen is really an idiot he called ILM trying to get them to file action over the line about him in the Clerks 2 trailer. Prince wanted to sue him over An Afternoon With Kevin Smith, but freaked because Kevin never handed in the NDA prince made him sign. Also prince is turning the documentary Smith filmed for him into a recruitment video for the Jehovah Witnesses

that concentrated more on big elaborate stories with pretty funny payoffs (i.e. prince, meeting his wife, writing superman) but when I saw him, he had some funny stories but he was also ON with quips and one-liners. He also had some huge fights with audience members asking questions.

John Pierson, who teaches my producing class, helped to distribute clerks and also produced Chasing Amy along with Mosier. He and Kevin are good friends and he gets people he's worked with to come talk in austin. I'm sure he gets paid some.

Nah not yet, I'm waiting for the absolute editions of sandman to come out. Its going to have new artwork and will compress the entire saga into 4 hardbound books! I'm keeping my eye on ebay for someone who is selling the entire preacher series at once otherwise postage gets too hire if I have to buy them all seperately.
