oh, I like swervedriver, but there's no doubt SP.com is unbelievably bad.

I thought the Lisa photo shoot was particularly horrendous, but this is worse.

I must say that the Web site has been a failure in every aspect imaginable. I remember back when the MySpace page still had that "city" thing with all the local meetings going, and The Pumpkin Queen kept talking about how Billy really wanted a Web site that blew all the old ones away and brought a new element of fan interaction. Although I must say the Web site originally had some unique aspects, its quickly fallen to shit.

Not to mention all the half assed promotions. What happened to releasing videos of all the songs from the Paris show? A Day in the Life of Smashing Pumpkins? New staff writers?

i'm the bigger person, as i don't go around bullying people, or lashing out at them because they've (god forbid) annoyed me somewhat on a messageboard. I just post messages alluding to such bullying for fun when i'm really bored and can't leave work for another half hour.

Swervedriver were great. They had all the same problems as Catherinee Wheel: poor albums sales, getting dropped from record labels, lineup changes. They both deserved much more success.
