Oh word. I actually thought Hollywood was a nice bounce back from the self-indulgence of the previous three movies (which I enjoyed, still). Felt like the first time since Jackie Brown or Kill Bill that he was able to strike a genuine emotional note.

Knives Out, which I saw this weekend, was also very good. Had planned to see The Irishman in theaters until seeing it's limited release made it about a 3 hr drive to the nearest theater that was actually showing it, so I looked at my alternates & was pretty excited about this one going in. One of those movies that people will probably claim to have "known the ending" beforehand but they are full of shit & can be, like the OUATIH haters, safely ignored.
