Cash Car Star's history
Hello. I was really bored and trying not to think about some things tonight, so i went online to Google Groups and threw in some random words to have a look at some AMSP history.
At some point i got to reading a thread about the possible b-sides to the upcoming Perfect single (the thread is from July 9th-12th 1998) and somebody posted a fake tracklisting for it: "Yeah,LMGTWTY will be on the pefect single released on September22.the tracks are. 1.Perfect 2.Need 3.Let me Give the World to you 4.Crash Car Star 5.Yardbird(instrumental) .I got this info from S Youth9." ...but as far as i know, Cash Car Star was never even heard of until it's debut on October 31st of that year... And i had also heard that the name 'Crash Car Star' was a mistake when the song was broadcast, that someone had misheard or something. I never saw the broadcast, so forgive me if i'm confused here, i never really looked into it. It's just what i was told. It's nothing amazing, i'm just curious. I never really liked Cash Car Star back when it was first played, so if this is something really obvious i might've missed it.

Ah, nevermind. More searching shows that it was mentioned in a magazine before the KISS show, my bad.

I always felt that song was an attempt to show that they found an able replacement for Jimmy. It's so over the top as far as drumming goes.

Aries Spears (the black black dude from Mad TV) said "Crash Car Star" during the Kiss show. I have it tapped. I always called it that until I saw the real title on MACHINA II.
