geek usa - not sure if she still posts. I remember calling her on the phone maybe ten years ago or more. I follow her on instagram and like her photos.
yo soy el mejor - reallllllly not sure. I never had a problem with her personally, but she sometimes really shows her nasty side.
pavementtune - Hardly know the girl, except of course for the fact that she's a german scat porn actress. I respect that.
reprise85 - Very open and very friendly/helpful on Netphoria. A very rare quality. Usually agree to her opinions.
fuzzyroes - i can't say he's not a nice guy, he probably is. Just posts so many things I disagree fundamentally and strongly with. It's hard to not have that reflect on your opinion on someone. I do respect that he usually seems to stay kind of positive even though many do not like him.

duovamp - What was your first username again? Really grown on me. Sometimes has hilarious posts.
cool as ice cream - Shitfaced is his middle name. Bram is his first name. His last name probably involves a lot of prefixes like van de or van der but without spaces like those silly belgians do. Probably the netphorian who lives closest to me nowadays. Very knowledgeable about SP and this board. Has at least one penis.

how surprising - i'm home alone on Saturday night, so i got plenty of time to do this.

D. - he had a bit of a hostile posting period before he left, but now that he's back it seems like he's in good spirits and although we don't get to interact much, i like him. cool dude.
teh b0lly!!1 - fuck that self absorbed pity partying self important dumb guy and his essay posts that nobody reads
redbreegull - love this dude. i have a hard time putting this without sounds ultra-cringey, but i feel like our lives and inner dialogue mirror each other to an almost bizarre degree sometimes. except he's probably a lot smarter than me. i like his humor, which often gets misunderstood around here. not by me though
eulogy - aggressive drunk. entertaining. pretty sharp. i always appreciated his ability to drive trots up the fucking wall using very short (even one liner) posts.
wHATcOLOR - tbqh i feel like adulthood stripped all the fun away from this guy. he was one of my fav boarders back in the day.

yo soy el mejor - we've all been shitty to someone else at some point in netphoria, but she can really say the nastiest, most vicious things to people sometimes.
pavementtune - love pave. a great human being. great taste in movies. miss geeking out with her over films and stuff like that. wish she was still posting.
reprise85 - i know the consensus around reprise is that she's extremely friendly, warm and helpful, but to me she almost always feels very distant and impersonal, tbh. it's almost as if she manages to fool everyone into thinking that she's there, when she isn't, really. she's undeniably smart though, and this is definitely not meant as an insult or anything, just the way i feel.
fuzzyroes - i can see why some people find him grating sometimes, and he likes to add fuel to the fire to see what happens, but if you take all that stuff with a grain of salt he's not a bad guy. also, i admire his ability to let such a massive amount of negative attention just ricochet off of him.
slunken - i would agree with the criticisms of his eternally elusive character, but he's uniquely funny, with a large knowledge in weird music and forever has cool recs. i'd be happy to see him posting again.
duovamp - funny dude. don't know much about him.
cool as ice cream - always loved bram. hilarious guy, great to talk to, and obviously very smart, either going by his detective skills of digging up coveted information from the depths of the internet, making hilarious html stuff in his posts, or knowing a ton about sp and various releases/shows.
smashingjj - also has been one of my fav boarders for what seems like forever. his sideways sense of humor makes me actually lol on a regular basis. happy that he's posting again. *starts laughing and crying hysterically and enters the shower with clothes on*
turalyonw3 - film buff. rarely goes into detail about the stuff he likes though. come geek out with me about movies turdlion
vixnix - i find her particular brand of wit captivating, and razor sharp. i often find myself thinking i wish i could express myself as well as she can. smart woman who impresses me, even though she probably doesn't feel that way.
T&T - know next to nothing about him.
foolofatook - a really smart, funny, well read person with an amazing command of the language. genuinely happy to see him making real, big progress in getting back to a normal life, and quite honestly proud of him for it, even though we never met.
amoergosum - this guy's massive knowledge of everything sp is staggering. sometimes it feels more like an intelligent bot than a real person. i often love his contributions at the sp board.
ram27 - a guy with an alarming fetish for jimmy.
poots - i don't follow political discussions so i don't know what he did to get the entire board wanting to murder him, but he can definitely be very funny.
dade - don't know anything about him. he once pm'd me an unsolicited link with a password to his SP archive, just out of goodwill, which was really nice of him.

labelle - friendly girl. generally nice person. but like with slunken, i mostly get the sense that i only know tiny fractions of information about her, but have no grasp at all on who she really is.

ninsp - some angry troll guy who comes here once in a while to tell us how much we all suck. entertaining for the most part
myosis - i like him. clear, level headed, doesn't get involved in bullshit. his posts project a very relaxed tone. i enjoy our little conversations about movies here and there.
cigarski - i think he hasn't been posting for a pretty long time.
toase - don't really know much about him. his avatar is funny.
ohnoitsbonnie - a kind and sensitive person. her brain works so differently than mine. her posting style kind of embodies "classic netphoria" somehow. has peculiar (in a good way) interests and nice rugs.
slurpee - who
elphenor - he tends to irritate me sometimes by his ability to turn even a conversation about animal rights into a post punk/musical genres/developed tastes proving contest, but he's generally a good guy and i respect him. as long as we don't argue about music.

great poster - his posts are great. barely even posts afaik?
disco king - i'm sure everybody else will gush about how smart and awesome and cool and great he is, so i'll leave it to them. he does seem surprisingly knowledgeable at a pretty wide variety of topics that i could never have the patience to study.
hnibos - i don't really know much about him. don't think he's posting. hoping his life is good and back on track after the whole theft accusations thing.
buzzard - talented photographer, super smart, funny as fuck sometimes, great guy. love discussing films with him and really respect his tastes. his use of the language is beautiful and very unique to him.

redbreegull - I honestly don't understand why so many people here give him shit. He's a pleasant, thoughtful person. He contemplates issues deeply instead of jumping to convenient conclusions. Needs to learn how to not take bait, though. When the usual suspects are attacking his ego, it'd probably do his blood pressure some good to just let it roll of his back, rather than getting defensive.

eulogy - When I knew him on the O-Board, he was pretty cantankerous and incendiary, but I still liked his sass. He seemed to be a lot more chill when I was interacting with him on this board. The years have probably mellowed him out. I like his acerbic, flippant disposition.

wHATcOLOR - Can't remember much other than he has the Zeitgeist phallus avatar thing.

geek usa - Don't know enough to say anything.

yo soy el mejor - I like the poster. Sometimes she seems to misinterpret posts, though.

pavementtune - Seems nice.

reprise85 - Incredibly caring and smart, as well as funny. I know there is a bit of detatchment there, but she'd have no incentive to comfort other people if she really were just some android. Being distant and having genuine concern aren't mutually exclusive.

fuzzyroes - There's that feeling that he means well, but is just too dumb to understand other people's experiences and the implications of the bullshit he supports. However, if he really meant all that well, he'd at least try to listen, rather than valuing his ego more-so than he values the well-being of vulnerable people. At this point, I don't think it's even about the politics. He's not a political guy, he has no real political values. He just made some sentiments that happen to be political part of his identity over the course of a summer, and now that it's part of him, he can't let any part of it be challenged or relinquished without feeling it a blow to his identity. He has concern for people he directly communicates with, but when talking about groups of people in the abstract, he's detached enough from the reality that he feels totally comfortable with them being shat on for the sake of his team winning.

slunken - Always kinda found him a little bit inauthentic, the way he tries to play it cool by scoffing at everybody else's posts without adding substance to discussions himself, and just kinda going "haha lol" when asked to explain his objections, which seems like some kinda defense tactic to me. I still like having him around, though.

duovamp - Is his avatar still the blue-haired goth chick? I liked that avatar.

cool as ice cream - Hilarious. Love his sense of humour, kinda mean-spirited and absurd at the same time. Because he talks to everybody this way, you kind of know not to place too much weight on it or get upset. In fact, it's usually an honour to get roasted by him.

smashingjj - Don't know well enough to say anything.

turalyonw3 - Cool movie guy.

vixnix - Mellowed out a lot, not a bad poster. Has a little bit of a tendency to dismiss out-of-hand claims about certain groups being disadvantaged, but then seems perfectly willing to use the language of feminism as a cover for some of her sex-negative judgements of other people's personal preferences. Also seems to argue points by just stating that she is very learned and did well in university a decade ago, or that her interlocutor is too naïve or self-deceived to see the light, rather than finding actual reasons to support her view. I do have a lot of empathy for her due to the sorts of things she's been through, though, and I can understand how it's perfectly reasonable for somebody with those experiences to have some idiosyncratic attitudes toward certain things.

T&T - Can be fine sometimes, other times tries a little too hard to be edgy. Also gives me that Slunken vibe.

foolofatook- Nice and funny guy, a hapless rogue whose delights are both simple and cultivated.

amoergosum - U don't really know this poster.

ram27 - I recommend this poster from the SP board, one of the few people who still bothers with discussing current SP stuff. I kinda feel this is a new-ish fan, because he seems to talk about the sort of things that most of us stopped having anything new to say about a decade ago. For some reason, I always assumed this poster was a female until I learned otherwise, I dunno why.

poots - Argues in bad faith, zero intellectual honesty. That edgy kid from grade school who would respond to the teacher who, while discussing the effects of war, would ask something like, "how would you feel if your community became a war zone, and schools and hospitals became unsafe?" with "Haha, I wouldn't care; actually, that would be awesome! Being a soldier and blowing guys up and shooting them would be way more fun that stupid class," hoping to impress his classmates with his self-consciously constructed attitude of disregard, while everyone else just kind of rolls their eyes at him and nobody finds him the badass he's trying to look like.

dade - Literally who?

weasel - I dunno.

scottytheoneand - Seems like a nice guy. Rarely seems to get into actual discussion, just kinda bumper-sticker sloganeering. It's weird, sometimes he'll bring up an idea, but then will have little interest in actually discussing that idea, and you get the sense that he only brought it up so that he could say, "I know what this thing is!" Or, there will be a discussion about something, and he will bring up something tangentially related without drawing many connections between it and the discussion in order to smoothly segue into it, as if to just be saying, "I know what this thing is, too!" And if you actually try to discuss a thing he brought up with him, he'll kind of just respond with something like, "I already know that," as if he takes a little bit of offense to feeling like somebody is trying o explain something to him.

cropumpkins - Don't know enough.

labelle - Funny, very nice, open-minded.

run to me - Always empathizing with people, listening to people, and encouraging people. Good guy.

redbull - I just remember that this guy has the Avril/Fall-Out-Boy guy GIF avatar, but I can't remember anything about his personality.

ninsp - Bottom-of-the-barrel poster. Too dumb the appreciate the irony in the fact that he's making fun of other people for apparently lacking lives, despite the fact that he only lives to try to irritate one very specific user on the internet who has never met him, and that person doesn't seem terribly fazed by ninsp's mission to "ruin his life." Considering that his target is somebody that I said just earlier in this post has a tendency to take bait, that really says something about the quality of ninsp's trolling. Fancies himself some kinda rigorous academic, but I've never seen this guy put forward an actual argument, he just makes a series of assertions and then pats himself on the back for being so logical.

myosis - Always a voice of reason and moderation, especially when people are talking about their personal problems. Tends to encourage them to stop obsessing over minute details and challenge their self-defeating beliefs by looking at the big picture.

cigarski - I dunno.

toase - I like his Abbath avatar variations. Seems to have good humour.

ohnoitsbonnie - Nice person, knows how to phrase posts to give them maximum comedic effect in a single line of non-punctuated text. Very caring about the world around her, especially when it comes to the natural world. Can be slightly judgmental here and there, but not so much that it's a serious personality defect or anything. The positives far outweigh anything else.

slurpee - I dunno who this is.

elphenor - Nice guy, we have a lot in common, but sometimes I forget that this guy is my age, because he still has a lot of that juvenile high-school "I need to show I'm cool by premising my identity on my media preferences" mentality. Like, making his life objective to be "cool" in order to get over his high-school crush rejecting him has halted his emotional and social development at graduation 2011. Self-conscious enough to calculate every preference he has and opinion he professes, but not self-aware enough to at least not make it so obvious that this is exactly what he's doing.

the omega concern - Trolls so hard that it wraps back around to being totally inoffensive and benign because, even without putting him on ignore, your brain kinda just automatically filters his posts out after a while.

crabshack - Kinda tries to go for that insult humour, but isn't the greatest at it. Leave that to CAIC.

hnibos - I know I've interacted with this person enough that I should be able to say something, and all my interactions with them have been pleasant, but I can't really think about specifics right now.
