Default 1994-03-24 SIU Arena upgrade AMT1 transfer

Snagged a pretty nice copy of this on VHS. Old DVD was blurry and audio wasn't great. New tape is very sharp and audio is a huge upgrade.

Didn't realize the size of the final file until I uploaded it, definitely pushing the limits of common acceptable size here. Even with the length of this show.

For future reference, at what file size do today's traders start to feel like they don't want to bother downloading?

I guess a common 720p movie download is around 8gigs. Old circulating DVDs would be condensed down to 5gb.

Maybe 6gb encodes are what I should shoot for, assuming no visible quality loss.

Thank you for doing the work of the Lord. This is wonderful stuff. Can you imagine being and old school fan and having been at this show, stumbling across this? You know that's gonna happen for somebody out there at some point.

Soma - what an opener. Man.

Great encore, Corgan saying "I command you to be quiet!" at the crowd goes down fantastically, ha

Thanks for this!

Loving the new releases. Thanks for sharing.

I'm not too concerned about filesize, but would you consider releasing the interlaced video?

I could, but i'll have to figure out proper encode for it. x264 is more geared towards progressive video. The raw captures are lossless, and are 30 gigs an hour. So close to 50GB file for this show.

I'll do some experimenting. Maybe separate torrents for interlaced video. Haven't had much of anyone asking for it specifically so haven't bothered.
