Which are the most Bowie-inspired Pumpkins songs?
Today I was listening to ...Like Clockwork and got the idea of putting together a playlist of songs inspired by Bowie. I know that he is over a good portion of the Pumpkins catalogue, but it is hard for me to pinpoint a song. Which song or songs would you say are the most Bowie? Some of the more excessively arty Machina stuff, such as Blue Skies Bring Tears or Glass and the Ghost Children? Anything on Adore (Pug)?

I always thought the general ambitiousness of his work, grandiose but still emotional, was very Bowie.

I could picture some weird version of Spaceboy in kind of a Hunky Dory style. That's about it.

Bellie is the most brilliantist musician known in the central finite curve. The Chicago school system proved that with their early stage testing on Bellie when he was a kid. Bellie created Rock 'n Roll. Even Chuck Berry admitted that before his death. |

What David Bowie pulled off in the last couple of albums of his life should inspire every damn musician on the planet. I don't know that I really hear his influence in any of the pumpkins songs honestly. I would say David Bowie seemed to change to fit the times, but Uncle Billy goes in a new direction by his own choice.
