'Honestly' Single out Jan 20th. Album Feb 3rd.
According to a UK daily music source they can exclusively reveal that the new Zwan single will be released January 20th.
They give the news quite high coverage as well... ...although they do call 'Jesus I' a ballad based on the Spun soundtrack clip... UPDATE: ALBUM FEB 3RD Last edited by VoxUpDoc : 11-16-2002 at 11:54 AM. |

Thanks for the heads-up. What 'daily source' did you get the info from? I'm in the UK and I'd like to read it (and transcribe it here if no-one else wants to) Cheers. |

Planetsound on Channel 4 teletext page 481. They are usually quite reliable, and a damned sight better than the like of NME etc.

The news item:
"ZWAN LAKE Billy Corgan's new band Zwan release their debut single Honestly on Jan 20, PS can reveal. It is Corgan's first new material since Smashing Pumpkins split in 2000. Zwan's as-yet-untitled album follows a fortnight later. A ballad, Jesus I, can be heard in the trailer for Jonas Ackerlund's film Spun." .... Oh my...I just realised they gave away the album date as well... 3rd Feb. |

according to www.visions.de (which are normally very well informed) the european release-date for the "debut" (if this means album or single is not mentioned, but i guess it's the album) is set to jan. 27th. and it says, that the earphoria-cd will be released nov. 25th, but the dvd will be available from dec. 9th
