a lil' bit ago:
Xiu Xiu - Knife Play & La Foret (on each there are some fabulous songs surrounded by a landscape of boring)

Nina Simone - Anthology (makes me wish I looked into www.allmusic.com when I first became interested in her, I could have just bought this amazing double CD and saved some money on the other CD's I bought)

Today:
Sufjan Stevens - Come on feel the Illinoise (saw it on sale at HMV so deaf bought it as a "sale" package along with "Big Trouble in Little China DVD lol). Have only listened to 1/2 of it so far but it's better than I expected on first listen...very nice brief opening "Concerning the UFO...")

Jimi Hendrix - Jimi Hendrix Deluxe Edition DVD (haven't seen it yet but I'm on a current Hendrix kick on my guitar and I've heard good things about this "rockumentary")

Yesterday on CD:
Dirty Boots single-Sonic Youth.

And tonight my friend has ordered me the No Flashlight package by Mout Eerie. It *******s the album on both Cd and vinyl, as well as some giant poster which explains bits of the album and has a bunch of cool artwork.
