It's not like I'm pulling mad vagina anyway, if it's not obvious.
I mean, I do okay considering my lack of social skills, but not well enough to be at high risk of STDs that dont give a fuck about condoms. |

Idk, I only like Sex and Rock. Everything else is really uninteresting. I just find day to day life so incredibly lame I want to shoot myself.
Drugs are pretty cool too |

I also like message boards.
Probably more than face to face communication. I absolutely can't stand talking to most people. Whatever it is that most people get from just small talk or whatever I dont get. And most 20 year olds dont dig the things I do. |

i also don't like talking face to face with most people
i don't quite understand why i should pretend to be interested in your views on sex, and if it was RL i'd just nod my head and pretend to be listening but on here i can say "shut the fuck up" |

I'd recommend the best of - 50,000 Fall fans Can't Be Wrong, as a decent entry point. Early Fall is definitely where most folk 'get' it. IMO they never put a foot wrong their first 10 years. Live At The Witch Trials, Dragnet, Hex Induction Hour, Slates, Grotesque are all fantastic.
Grotesque was voted best Rough Trade album of all time a few years ago! |

Grotesque is probably the greatest album ever imo.
Every track is pure jittery post-punk brillance. |

i'm not well versed in their entire discography, but i'm fairly surprised no one has mentioned 'this nation's saving grace.' it's my favourite and i had thought that it was generally considered to be their best work. i suggest that over dragnet as a first listen.

That's the only Fall album I don't like. It's just boring compared to something like Dragnet. It's The Fall's "mainstream" album.

I think Grotesque is the place to start or a collection of singles.
Dragnet is excellent but I didn't find it super easy to get into because a few of the tracks are really out there. |

I feel the title of this thread is a bit hyperbolic.
Anyway as much as most of what I love is post punk, I could never get into The Fall. Probably not moody enough or something. |

They have a more Punk vibe than most post-punk. Like if The Stooges were a post-punk band.
Mark is pure attitude and intelligence which is what I look for in music. |
