What? No! He only repeats that verse twice, and that song has no chorus btw. That's like saying Tonight Tonight is basically repetitions cause he says "Tonight" a couple of times.

I'd take Zach De La O repeating "Fuck you, I won't do what ya tell me" a MILLION times over Billy singing, "Everyone, EVERYONE EVERYONE EVERYONE EVERYONE EVERYONE EVERYONE EVERYONE EVERYONE."

All I want is MI/MII cleaned up and a bunch of outtakes - none of this alternate versions bullshit.

That's not what I'll get but it is what i want.

Any machina tracklist with White Spyder or In My Body can and should be disregarded. Those are two of SP's worst songs, along w HMM and BSBT.

Although i remember there being a vers of BSBT that I could stand. Might have been the leaked demo. Not sure. It's been a while since I've listened to any Pumpkins.

I'd prefer the track list to be left alone tbh

Unless everything from M1 and M2 is included

i agree it's a good song. just saying billy has repeated himself in songs quite a lot

and i dont get how it's comparable to someone saying the hook for the song in the chorus a lot. notice i didn't ******* bodies/"love is suicide"

Cash Car Star has bigger issues than the repetition. like the line "cause everybody's everything is nobody's nothing". Yikes that's awful

Kenny's obviously no Jimmy or Matt, but he holds his own on that song.

Ok, ok swapout Cash Car Star for Vanity. Easy.

Those saying they want the reissue to leave the album exactly as it is (wtf?) - then what’s the point in reissuing it?

Machina was poorly recieved by critics, sold shit, and is not well-regarded by fans. So... leave it exactly as it is? Sure.gif

there's no single disk version that'll please everyone, that much is obvious.

it's interesting how quite a few lead singles were older tracks
Bwbw
ava adore
cash car star (I'm sure this was slated as next single after adore era, but billy canned it)

Machina was the one that had a significant interest from day 1 once he started talking about how he wanted to fix it. Nobody cared for it when it came out.

And there's been people hoping for a more polished MII probably since it first came out. Know I did. Can't really lump them in with the others TBH. These are the ones with a point.

I thought the whole resequencing/releasing as originally intended thing was confirmed by this point? I mean, "confirmed" as anything in SP camp can be

Hearing M1/M2 as one piece on a sonically equal-ish level vs. the (comparatively) clean production of 1 to the messy unfinshedness of 2 was the whole appeal of this thing, wasn't it

I think it would be cool to get both albums reissued entirely.

It would also be interesting to get some kind of triple album ultimate Machina collection with a reordered tracklist, cause originally wasn't the album supposed to be triple before the record company said no?

But ultimately the thing is no 2019 reorder is going to reflect what Billy would have done if he had full creative control twenty years ago, so to me it's at best an intrigue or a novelty. I just hope none of the best songs are left off. Like how sad would it be if Vanity never got an official release

Yeah, honestly so long as everything was re-released in a manner that was more sonically consistent so that everyone's personal Machina mixes would sound better would pretty much suffice by this point - I don't exactly have full trust Billy would choose the best versions of the songs anyway, lord knows he didn't do it in '99!

I think this was "confirmed" at the same time as when he said he wanted to redo the whole thing with guest stars.
