...apart from the chorus; I'm pretty glad nothing else sounds like that on this album as it's bad enough having U2 sounding like U2. Lots of classic Suede memories being jogged throughout on the first listen; plenty of hooks and melodic basslines...but I haven't heard the word "gasoline" yet. Nothing really new, but some damn good songs, which makes all the difference when it comes to band reunions (and especially reunion tours).

Yeah there are definitely some great basslines on this. All in all a pretty good album.
