um, how's the booket? 2xLP of the same record is kind of hard to swallow over here. its not like the original LP is impossible to find..

A gem you can find in any dollar bin in reasonably good shape:

Earth Wind & Fire - That's the Way of the World

Holy shit what a phenomenal sounding black circle. The kalimba on track 3 "Happy Feelin" sounded like it was coming from inside the room. The drums and bass are so thick and gooey yet clear and dynamic...and it's extremely crankable

Gonna be hard to play anything else for awhile...

Bumping to list "In the Aeroplane Over the Sea." The woozy brass especially sings on the vinyl, and the acoustic guitars sound much more rich/full spectrum.

Also would like to ask the vinyl nerds round here: how y'all storing your records? Was thinking about snagging some of them stackable cube jobs....

not sure i fully understand what you mean, or stating the obvious, but it's generally ill advised to stack records. they should be leaning against each other, as to prevent warping.

Tired of leaning all these records against the wall

Dude it's a different mix (and a new remaster of a previously extremely problematic mix) of a record in which the mix makes a huge difference

Like, I own 2 different versions of in utero with different mixes. It's not about being slavish to the original pressing unless your sole focus is collectability
