Thanks for the PAL goodness
However, it looks slightly out of sync here (VLC V0.8.6e, OS X). But that could be a problem with the MTV broadcast/editing as the presenter between TTW and Rose March is way more out of sync. I guess the quality of MTV productions is equally low around the world...

Thanks a lot.

Can anyone make out what 4 pedals Jeff is using? Looks like single stompboxes as opposed to a MIDI system I'm guessing he normally uses.

I guess it's just my eyes, because i can't see it. I watched it several times after reading your post. Some parts of The Rose March it looks maybe slightly out of synch when watching bills guitar, but it's hard to tell, for me anyway. But TTW and LLS look fine to me, also the presenter part you mentioned looks fine. And the audio was one file that i added before the SP set, so if the first and last song look fine, i don't see how it could have gotten out of sync in between.

Can anyone else chime in on if it looks out of synch to them?

Exclamation Down in front!!!

I find myself a little angry at the tall guy in the front row.

No tall people know they're tall, they can damn well watch from a few rows back.

First-come, first-served.

Why did Billy seem so pissed when he left the stage?

That's cool with me; folks can't help their height. What pisses me off is when tall people push their way to the front after the opening act. I guess it kinda pisses me off when anybody does it, but it seems especially unfair when tall be people do it. It makes me want to spit on them.

yes. it started ok, but near the end of that's the way, and later in the recording, there seemed to be some hiccups (video and audio hang for a second or less) and after that it's out of synch. might just be my pc though. i only watched it once so far.

the out-of-synch-ness isn't so bad during the songs, but the presenter part is very noticeable. way off.

Indeed. And yes, that goes for anyone pushing their way to the front.

Being rather tall myself, I tend to stand at the back or near columns/other tall people, if there are any. There will always be tiny people murmuring swear words behind my back, though.

At one occasion when I was standing right at the front, a girl asked me if she could stand in front of me, so I could protect her from the bewildered crowd, so I guess there are some upsides for everyone

It struck me how into it Billy was for "Lips Like Sugar" and how great his voice sounded. It has a certain quality that is usually lacking these days IMO. Great cover overall.

And thanks for posting this!
