I don't know this band really but the guitarist of my band was listening to Big Ups in his car when I joined him and told me they sounded like June of 44 on that particular album. So, Big Ups I guess

I do know them. For some reason I thought Big Ups was part of that emo revival. I'll check em out. Thanks!

I'm surprised that The For Carnation doesn't get mentioned more often when people discuss Slint-adjacent bands:
