its not actually the pizza company but the place that supplies their cheese - might as well be accosting the people who purchase the pizza or the stores that supply them. also would be willing to bet this cheese company doesn't have an exclusive claim to califrnia pizza and vice versa this is all so mind-numbingly narrow-minded

i'm imagining suitcases full of pizza notes and typed spreadsheets with a lot of scientific data on them - basically the same kind of work that would go into making an album but instead it is about frozen pizza

the real problem is that i thought the califronia kitchen pizza called "margarita" was actually the best frozen food pizza commonly found on the market. DAMN YOU BILLY MY HEAD IS SPINNING

Maybe Billy should visit a few farms or talk to farmers and not just look at photos and videos from peta. Peta is never the best source.

I am an advocate for pizza related issues but Billy is pretty crazy and I wouldn't want him on my side on a political/social issue. Or at least have Mr. Vapor Trails speaking for me.

I don't disagree at all with what is being criticized, but targeting California Pizza Kitchen is like going after Walmart's sorry employment benefits when Target is down the street pulling the same shit. This sort of factory farm is where nearly every company in the quick-service restaurant industry - unless otherwise (usually very proudly) specified - sources their product because it is the most efficient and profitable means of production for the commodity distributor from whom they are being supplied. You might as well just bet on it.

Billy has the $$$ to afford those organic free range animal products; I wish I did. (OK, well I guess the meat accrued across the various hunting seasons counts...I still have to pay for the license, and potentially a good processor though.) But if he cared that much perhaps he should have really put his money where his mouth is and elected to not be associated with those Body by Milk ads a few years ago, eh?

Well basically I think you have to embarrass an entire industry into reform as opposed to individual actors, because the problems are structural and imbedded into the system itself. Like if you want to really reduce illegal immigration grow some balls and start prosecuting the companies deliberately luring desperate people over with grey market jobs as opposed to the "OMGZ deport all the mexicans!" approach. Or better yet stop signing trade deals that undercut every country's own agricultural and manufacturing base.

I wouldn't be suprised if Mr Belly's pain free pizza joint opened up beside Madam ZuZu's.

this is all about him promoting his new overpriced ethical pizzas.

We'd always wondered why Billy never actually went through on an "absolutely groundbreaking" plan for releasing Oceania, or never actually did market research about what people would want from The Lucky 13. This is the answer. All the resources went to pizza. I must ask though, why is Billy aligned with PETA. He's openly admitted he's never stuck with vegetarianism for more than a few months.

From an article written by Greg Kot at the end of the 20th Anniversary Tour:
