A word of caution to EITS tapers...

Get there early, real fuckin' early. My ticket last night said 7:30, I assumed that was when doors opened. Showed up at 7:31 and they were already playing... lame. The venue was maybe 20% filled? Lotsa folks still trying to get there 1st beer then.

I have this kind of problem a lot. I never know what will happen on the time which is written on the ticket: doors open? support band? main act?. Yesterday the band was supposed to play at 9 pm, they started at 10 pm. wtf?

I would trust the venue website over the ticket most of the time.

Just the saturday show. Pulled a sick, sick tape! but it's on my DAT (the edirol is on loan) so it'll be a while before I can get it transferred. 3 philly shows this next weekend

Hmm I thought you might be taping them all. Now I feel slightly guilty for not taping tonight & tomorrow.

Not at a club. It's usually "doors" then, giving you extra time to drink before the first band.
