turns out its not in the "wrong" sleeve (ie - someone didn't make a mistake) but it's an odd variant

So stoked.
it’s a really nice copy. Mine plays well, it’s a bit scratched but plays well. I have the exact same one.

Nice haul. I went to a record fair a couple weeks ago and just got a bunch of archival folk/world indigenous music and country Jerry Lee Lewis records.

i want to like more bowie records and i know i should but i just don't feel it in my bones. i like the production of "station to station" and a lot of the songs but nothing ever made me think "i need this album"

found a mint copy of a 1977 issue (from the original stampers) of the stones' "exile on main st" so i figured i would throw it into the pile. the guy who owns the shop seemed kind of sad today. thought about calling him up before they close.

I have some early 80s pressing of this. Interesting full band sound on this, kinda sparkly while still raw

his live band at the time was basically a bunch of teenage nobodies. really interesting to read about via the DeCurtis book.

picked up a copy of Antichrist Superstar on cassette today. It shreds.

Alan Vega, Alex Chilton, and Ben Vaughn - Cubist Blues

Holy shit. This used to be impossible to find. Recorded/improvised over two nights in a dark smoky studio. Found a used copy of the 2015 LITA reissue.
