Anyway...
God...I don't give a shit what anyone else says about the album...you people who don't like it but like the other albums are fucking retarded. Seriously, I pity you for not being able to appreciate this piece of art. That show Sat night was one of the best shows I've seen...the new songs they played were absolutely beautiful - even with a cold and a sore throat, Maynard managed to have on of the best live voices ever. The visuals were so great, the setlist was perfect....Danny Carey kicked ASS. It was just a great show. Definitely worth the $200, every penny of it. If they ever come here again and I'm forced to pay $200 again, I'd do it. *swoon* |

Wasn't it great? Where were you? We decided to take some acid and it was just the perfect show for it. It started kicking in right when they started the show...and the vibrations from the opening song, along with the whole intro deal...made my entire body covered in goosebumps. I was really tempted to just say fuck work and try to drive to Detroit tonight just to stand outside and hope to get tickets. God that was so great. |

hell yes. http://forums.netphoria.org/showpost...3&postcount=43
the intro was fucking awesome...and so was the way it kicked into lost keys --> rosetta stoned. the sound in that place was crazy loud. I was in balc-1 row B. http://forums.netphoria.org/showpost...3&postcount=46 $120 was not bad, but I would have easily paid $200. From the sound of the peeps outside, a lot of people were paying $250 right outside the show for shitty tickets (gallery, double-letter balc-2). I'm really looking forward to Radiohead now (which luckily I was successful at getting tickets for during the inital onsale) simply based on how good the sound was for Tool at the same venue. Those tickets will probably sell for the same scalper price outside. |

Yeah we were row R on the 1st balc...dead center. I think we waited a little long to get our tickets though.
lol we were trying to get Radiohead tickets to pay off the Tool tickets. We didn't though =\ |

nice, we were close! fucking awesome show.
my radiohead tickets are much worse. they are orchestra (on the floor) but double HH...which is towards the back...at least further back than we were Saturday night. I wonder how the sound is. It has to be good still, but I"m worried about the covered areas getting some "wash out" because of the overhead balcony and the sound reflecting off the back wall. |

I have a great flac recording of the seattle and chicago show. I can send them to you over the net with aim or something if you want. Each are about 500mb, I also converted the Chicago show to mp3 but you can tell the quality suffers slightly.
One of the best shows I've seen, amazing. Anyways, if you want the show let me know, aim is handleofvodka. |

I saw Phantom of the Opera there and had those crazy crow's nest seats all the way at the top and it was still fantastic. I wouldn't be worried. |

Good to know. Guess it comes as no surprise, since the sound was so loud on Saturday that every knook and cranny of that place probably was filled with sound!
I was aborted -- I am on AIM now, if you want to jump on. |

I won't be able to get on aim until 2 and a half hours from now. Currently I'm at work. The chicago show was up on dimeadozen though if you have access. If not, catch me this evening.
