Took watch Lady in the Water

Srsly. Ok, ok, it start kinda slow. But then, but then, a character solves an entire crossword puzzle. On screen. During a single shot.

Plus the lady from Jurasic World have such eyeballs in it:

Slither - 4/5
Really enjoyed how campy it is, and how it doesn't shy away from some gross out body horror. It basically turning into a zombie film near the third act was a bit of a let down, although I suspect back when it came out zombies weren't as played out yet.

Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping - 5/5
I laughed all the way through this film, really well done mockumentary with some incredible moments. Tim Meadows is outstanding in it.

Down With Love - 4/5
Despite a few gripes with how it ultimately deals with feminism, I enjoyed this film a lot. Not a fan of Zellwegger but she's great in this, as are Ewan McGregor and David Hyde Pierce.
Also, one hell of a third act twist!

would anyone recommend Wes Anderson films I only ask because Mark Mothersbaugh has composed the soundtrack for like 3 of them

as in, should I bother watching the actual movies or just download the soundtracks

if you seriously don't know anything about him, watch "life aquatic" and then go backward. royal tenenbaums, rushmore, bottle rocket.

if you like those, go forward.

The alternative is to skip directly to the post in which you pooh-pooh film in general, stating that a good score is the only quality one could ever possess while allowing exceptions in the case of 24 Hour Party People and anything else sufficiently relevant to your single personal interest outside of League of Legends.

Fuck yes to Slither. One of the few horrors from the 2000s to get the old-school monster movie vibe just right.

Popstar was less enjoyable for me. Too many celebrities thinking they are funny.

Wes Anderson is mostly hit or miss for me. I really loved The Royal Tenenbaums, The Fantastic Mr. Fox and The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou.

If you can find it, have a crack at Noi the Albino.

I can imagine you relating to that one, for some reason.

When I say, "if you can find it," I guess I mean that watching one of the low quality rips on The Pirate Bay would be a huge mistake.

He only likes the early Rugrats, when the animation was a little rougher around the edges and less commercial. A post-Rat, I believe he calls himself.

I knew of Devo as the Kraftwerk style group in silly hats

Not as the punk rock band that formed in response to the Kent State shootings to make a black humor art exhibit about the devolution of man
