Great read. Love the bit about Jellybelly. Matt's such a solid dude.

One of my major concert going regrets was when I saw Morrissey back in 2007. I got there early and was waiting to get in for GA, and went around the back when a bus showed up to see if I could meet Morrissey. Naturally didn't happen, but a dude came out from the back area and walked around on a phone for a few, then just walked around for a bit... and I didn't even make the connection that it was Matt due to some big ol' sunglasses. BLEW IT.

He actually did it live 6 times, with the intro considerably slowed down and skipped snare fills.

Why can't Billy just hire Matt back? Mike Byrne...Tommy Lee....I'd take Matt in a heart beat over either of those.

Matt's hard hitting intensity could be the key to what's missing. Having gone back, because ofthe posts on here about oach, that hard hitting time keeping intensity is what's needed.
The thing that concerns me is why billy and matt were at odds over the adore recording. I think billy once said that he was mad at matt for not being jimmy.
Going back to 97 Matt's take on mcis songs was great.
