I sincerely appreciate the level of detail here

I last regularly exercised at a gym in an age before smartphones were prevalent, so I'm enjoying the peek into how the world has changed

it's so oblivious and selfish when people sit on a piece of equipment just messing with their phones--especially when there is only one piece of whatever that equipment is.

hope u were at least standing up and out of the way to make your posts so others could get their pump on.

Well, even before smartphones, it would still be standard practice for lifts to be done in sets with 1-3 minute rests in between them. If you're going for hypertrophy, you'll have sets of more reps with lighter weights and shorter rests. If you're going for strength, you'll do sets of fewer reps with longer rests. Either way, you're probably taking a rest and not just doing one long set of 50 squat reps or something. The only difference now is that you might just pull out your smartphone during those rests that you would be taking anyway.

i went to the gym once, in high school when i was trying to get into junior varsity.

the coach took one look at me and put the lightest weights on the metal staff thingy. i lied down, lifted, and dropped it straight down on my "chest," pinning myself to the bench. like winnie the pooh in rabbits front door, i was stuck. they had to rescue me. after i had a bruise on my "chest."

i've never been in a gym again.

so, anyway, i still made it on to jv simply becoz i was the tallest heffalump in the school (it was a small school). my entire career consisted of about 45 seconds in the second quarter of our first game.

i was subbed in off the bench. on offense, i was stripped of the ball instantly. on defense, dude drove on me, i fouled him, and he scored anyway. he missed the freethrow, i failed to box out, they got the rebound and scored again. i returned to the bench and quit the team during halftime.

alright so.

last night i accidentally took my morning pills at night. i did not realize until this morning.

i didn't really sleep. but i also wasn't hungry.

i knew my meds made me hungry but i'm literally doubling my calories because of them, it seems like.

i definitely was eating completely like shit but now that i am used to not being hungry and am usually fine during the day i think i can definitely say the meds were/are a big part of the eating problem i have. i never wanted to give myself an out like that before but you know what, it's the fucking meds. now that i'm eating a good balanced (although small portioned diet) it's really obvious that this eating at night after meds is a real problem.

i'm on two big weight gain psych meds. one i've gotten off of before but got more depressed and went back on (at a very low dose). i see my doc in a few weeks. going to see if i can go off that one and maybe down on the other one, or try taking half in the morning (i'll be sleepy for a few days but i'll adjust) and see if that helps.

That's looks like a comfortable cardigan for wrapping up. I personally can't keep anything white, so I would not pay too much for anything ivory. Tulip purple and marled black/white look good.

I bought my "back to school/fall" clothes last week. Got 3 pairs of pants, one cardigan, one light jacket, two dresses, and a sweatshirt for 75 smackers.

i've officially lost 125.5 lbs

saw my nutritionist today

we made a deal if i walk (at least) two days a week i can eat .5 servings of fruit a day (berries)

fuck yeah i'm going to eat berries in like two weeks

still on phase 4 diet though which means no grains/startchy vegetables/fruit

but honestly i'm fine with it in general. but i do want some berries.

hecks yes walking is awesome. early morning or early evening is best in this hellish clime.

yesterday i saw a really faint partial rainbow. i think i've seen a dozen or so rainbows in the year and a half that ive been in florida.
