Billy Corgan still owes me $40 and I haven't heard from him since he borrowed it.

He has a fantastic moral compass and we fully agree on politics but I wish he had some talent.

I stole Billy's guitar and all I had to do was pay Frank 4 grand.

Kinda like an old friend from college who you see years later and you just don't have much in common anymore

When I met him on the Adore tour at a signing, he made a joke about my shirt that will haunt me forever

Needless to say I'm still livid and we haven't spoken since

D'arcy, on the other hand, complimented my best friend's shirt — one that I had purchased for him; she and I still get together to catch up and gossip whenever we can

I'm pretty sure I saw him glare at me from the stage during the Oceania tour. Or maybe it was just his buttcrack caught in the light.

You know, at the same stop where he infamously ripped Mike a new byrnehole for fucking up Zero.

obsessing over the nos is almost a self parody at this point

literally just get an acoustic and do la dolly vita for 5 minutes and people will be happy and good PR

it doesn't have to be a whole fucking thing

I was planning to ask him if he's actually a fan of Tuca and Bertie, or if he's a boomer who uses gifs he doesn't understand because he's too old to work a computer

Seemed like a once-in-a-lifetime chance, now gone

Billy is Gen X. All of SP (the real SP at least) are Gen X except Jimmy who was born in the last year for boomers (64)

And so I'm offering this simple phrase, to kids from 1 to 92: anyone can be a boomer if they suck enough

It really is that simple

Ben Gibbard's been doing a lil' concert every night for like this entire time and it's not exactly killing him

The real question is: does Billy pronounce it as 'jiff' or does he use the correct pronunciation?

took me 30 seconds to figure out this wasn't some new slang for either "nostalgia" or somehow "pandemic"

Billy Corgan is like that annoying drive thru attendant who wants to start up a conversation every time, but I just want to get my burger and go.

In his stories today, he answers a couple questions about his live session, so it must have actually happened? I didn't get a notification like I normally would with someone I follow, and I didn't see any kind of record of it an hour after it was supposed to take place.

I'm shaken to my core right now, frankly.

Don't think I haven't noticed that literally no one else on this board tuned in and subsequently corrected me, though.

You'll probably wonder why I found it so memorable, but sure, here goes

I was wearing this shirt:

(back just says Björk — got it at a much better show, Billy)

And he just for an instant glances up and does kind of a double take, and says "Oh — for a second I thought that said 'Sad Off.' That would've been cool."

Now, the signing line goes D'arcy, then him, then James, and my friend is behind me, so at the same time Billy's giving me this happy crappy, D'arcy is complimenting my friend's shirt (which, don't forget — I will never forget — I bought him), so I've just got emotional fucking whiplash here

So what do I say? Do I let him have it? I think I went "Oh, haha, yeah that'd be cool" and I thank him, I almighty-God thank him for signing the back cover slip of my copy of Adore and I move on to James as though I hadn't just been fucking bodied

I saw the live session

it was really short. he basically said 'hi hope you're all doing well' or something and was sort of being a haughty jackass, like, oh is this what you want bitch?

he was sitting down with his kid. chloe was standing in the back wearing a white shirt. corgan's goatee/beard was relatively grown out

what am i doing with my life

Also worth noting: Charli XCX has been posting complex instructions for these absolutely desperate, trash dishes each night in her Instagram stories

I have no idea if these are the result of quarantine madness or if she really just, like, regularly makes tortilla soup with a huge glob of honey added in and dorm-room nachos on top, but either way they're a thrill ride to watch what new horror she's going to unleash upon the recipe next

And I sincerely mean that this is ten times more interesting and engaging than Billy doing the same vapid Q&A and posting the same pictures of his kid riding a train or holding a record or whatever
