I saw The Cure with Interpol at the Tweeter Center, or whatever it's called now. That was pretty fucking great.
yeah, manson is kind of putting me in the hole. but i haven't seen the big M in a while, and he's promising a pretty evil show. can't pass it up. : )

i just realized that i'm going to be out town on 3/29. nuts! no psychedelia for me that night.

Godspeed is playing at Logan Square Aud pretty soon, too... i need to check the date on that.

yeah, i saw them on that tour too, and I loved the show. mogwai was also one of the bands that played that day and they completely blew my mind.

when I agreed with hardcore's "they suck now" thing it's cause I'm really not into their new/newish stuff at all, and i don't know anyone who really is. i'm still as in love as ever with wish, head on the door, kiss me kiss me kiss me, etc. so i will go see the cure for as long as they'll ever tour.
Yeah, Curiosa...I missed Mogwai because my best friend and I were out in the parking lot trying to get tickets still.

What new stuff? There was an album that I can't remember the name of now that came out just before Curiosa and it was great, I haven't paid any attention to them after that though so I haven't heard anything newer than that.

Man, and I've never seen Manson. He's one of those bands I liked in the 90s that I never thought I'd ever see live, so I just accepted that...but just thinking about that now makes me really want to go! Ugh...

Godspeed, you mean Godspeed You Black Emperor? I haven't heard their music except my belly dance teacher did a voi solo to one of their songs and it was just breath-taking, and I really liked the song.

Foo Fighters in three weeks at the Wachovia Center. Still not sure on The Cure, May 10th I think, I would've bought a ticket already if it wasn't for the fact they're playing in the Spectrum. I'll try to experience Radiohead live for the first time whenever they release their tour dates and tix go on sale. R.E.M. & Modest Mouse sounds good, but the Mann Center's site doesn't have it listed. And of course, if SP comes back from overseas and plays somewhere on the east coast, New York maybe, I'd try to see 'em.

I might go to North Carolina to see Explosions in the Sky in April, they're playing a show at my friend's college, Warren Wilson. I love to see them live.
