if billy would sing in an angsty voice and put some balls behind his vocals, maybe a little bit of OOMPH, you know, this wouldnt sound so bad.
it sounds like a 40 year old singing hymns in church. no emotion. fucking smooth "i grew mature and learned to sing" vocals. FUCK YOU BILLY! |

vocals sound like TFE. music sounds like Green Day during the 2nd half of the clip, when the drums change. Jimmy's drumming should never sound like Green Day. Billy's voice should never sound like TFE, again.

Ok now im worried.
This definitely sounds different, it's modern thats for sure and it's not the good kind of modern either. Im also getting some kind of mcr vibe, going to listen to it another 10 times I think and try to see the whole picture. |

I think the riff near the end is fucking sweet.
The beginning sounds terrible though...but I think that's because of the shit quality of the leak. Can't wait to hear the whole thing. |

The drumming is really great too, I mean even with the shit quality of the recording you can tell that the drumming owns.

I don't feel any lies being burnt off my soul...
I'm not hugely enthusiastic about it at the moment, but when I hear a higher quality/full version of it, it'll hopefully be more enjoyable. |

YEAH,some bullshit energy. i like Link in your avatar but I HATE HATE HATE the song I heard.
It's not HONEST, it's not REAL, it's put together from parts to make something he hopes will appeal to the most people. it's EVERYTHING THE PUMPKINS HATED! until 'Untitled' of course. that's such BILLSHIT man! (coin word) |

i'm afraid that some weird guy smoking pot in his apartment being pissed off and ineloquently expressing his anger at a former good band gone bad IS far more enjoyable to listen to than that crap song fragment.

I've listened to it like 20 times now. The initial excitement has passed. I like it because it's "the Pumpkins" - I guess. But I guess I'm pretty disappointed with it musically and artistically.

He's only writing a song. Its not going to do anything more for you than anything you choose to do yourself.
