good point CH & Dead -- i was thinking the same thing about soundgarden A-sides...but couldn't remember if any of those songs were re-engineered...since the album has a uniform sound...and the old songs don;t sound worse than the newer songs.
as far as shit bizkit goes....as much as the music sucks, you have to admit the production quality was decent. |

Fuck, I can't believe Terry Date is working on the new record.
Expect the guitars to sound huge. |

Okay. So now Jimmy's frightening me into the belief that "Electric Space Theater" stands a good chance at being the real title by the way he talks. *shudder*

i never thought i'd see the day when i have to disregard what jim says as being loony. i don't blame james and d'arcy for not wanting to have anything to do with any renewal and revival

2 Producers?
Yes, Bands record albums with multiple producers to focus on different sound styles. I'd have to guess from reading this... that we are getting a few flavas. And if it is indeed a triple disc...
We've Got METAL/POP ROCK/SPACEY DREAMSCAPES. ...who will they work with next? Can't wait to see Billy and Jimmy's faces on the shooting stars tonight! WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEE i'm hitching my silver chord to the GREAT PUMPKIN SPACE RC |

The Great Pumpkins Space Train would make for an awesome movie, like the polar express but for halloween. But where would it take you, pumpkinland, the inside of Billy's head, the moon? Or maybe it wouldn't really go anywhere and the passengers just get killed off one by one by the Corginator, it would work as a horror flick.

The two disc version should have billy and jimmy's faces on the discs like MCIS style. That would rule. And use the pic of billy from mcmurderson's cartoons where he has that huge grin.

I wonder if the shooting star reference means the new SP flag starts having some type of flash element to it. You click one for tour info, one for bio etc...Or jimmy was smoking something...

A lot of producers are more 'hands off' - it's possible that they hired him in more of like a 'song doctor' role, which makes a lot of sense given the timeline thus far. if they're tracking drums now, they must have been doing song stuff before, with RTB.
Also, Billy's a huge Pantera fan. I'm not incredibly surprised by this choice. |
