I listened to Audioslave the other day. This is what Chris' death made me do

Depressing indeed.

Vicky Cornell, the widow of late Soundgarden and Audioslave frontman Chris Cornell, has issued a new statement about “unanswered questions” surrounding his death, suggesting that suicide shouldn’t be assumed as the cause of the musician’s passing, despite a medical examiner previously ruling his death as suicide by hanging.

Yes. It's fair to question the doctor's conclusion. Why don't you skeptics to such rail against Mrs. Cornell and call her out for her conspiracy delusions.

Gee, maybe she's disputing it because if it's ruled a suicide the family can't draw on his life insurance? Hmmm? How's that for a conspiracy theory for you??

Honestly, Audioslave got a bad rep. They made some good radio-rock songs in their time together. They were always less than the sum of their parts, but there are some legit gems on those first two albums.

I saw them live in '05 with my ex-wife (we were dating at the time) and though they are far from being my favorite group, it still remains one of the most enjoyable concerts I've ever been to.

I mean, as far as Clear Channel rock n' roll, you could do a lot worse. They weren't fucking Seether or Breaking Benjamin or some shit.

The final medical report isn't done... until it is, maybe something else is found. But most likely, he took a lot of drugs and then killed himself. Your contention that him being found on the floor not corresponding with him hanging himself is what I was disagreeing with, but of course you need to change the topic instead of admit you don't know jack shit about something

There was already a report that his wife doesn't consider it suicide because he wasn't in his right state of mind because of drugs. Legally, it's still a suicide, no matter if drugs made him blackout or whatever.

Your need to assume things you don't like are a conspiracy is fucking stupid. Sometimes rock stars hang themselves

I always thought it was a shame Audiosleve was active whilst Rage Against the Machine wasn't. I thought they could have put out some potent protest songs concerning 'Dubya' and all that

Even the name seemed defeatist

Well that came out a little harsher than I meant. I don't mind audioslave that much.

Audioslave sucked. When I heard that "Be yourself" song, I actually felt embarrassed for the Rage boys.
