I’m a fan of what they used to be. Legitimately think what they did in the 90s is better than any other music I’ve ever heard. Corgan has always been an ass but he at least used to seem relatively likable at times. As someone who didn’t grow up with them, I found out stuff mostly by reading stuff online. And it was very hard to learn that the man who wrote the music that spoke to me emotionally like nothing else ever has was a piece of shit.
