I freelance IT for nearly all of the casino's here in Oklahoma. Doing so, I get free tickets to almost every band that comes through. I've went to around a hundred of them in the last few years. What I'm getting at is I have thought about this very subject a lot. Billy is 53, in a few days anyways. I think given the ages of most rock band nostalgia acts that hit casinos around here he has at least a decade to go. Most of the acts are late 60's to 70's. I saw Blue Oyster Cult a few years ago and they are in their late 60's and rocked harder than the local 20 something shows.

They were at that point in 2013 when Mike and Nicole were still in the band. I think they played a state fair at one point that year. Billy pulled every trick he could between then and now to stave it off ("all-star" lineup with Mark and Brad, bringing Jimmy back, bringing James back, playing a "rawk" set), but I imagine we'll be back at that point in way less than a decade. The only gimmick left would be to bring back D'arcy, and I mean this with complete respect to her, but I imagine the number of fans who sat out a prior show who would go just to see D'arcy is negligible.

In a Reading Festival interview (IIRC) from that same year, he talks about bands setting up their own venues, strip mall style, where people will travel to where THEY are to see them play.
So maybe, logistically speaking, he would love that shit. The paycheck would probably certainly be right, given deals that Britney Spears, etc. have for playing Las Vegas nightly. Of course if it's just Winstar World Casino in OK I don't know.
